The future of Industrial development will be reshaped by digital technologies: Sh. Ramanjit
Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala in collaboration with College Alumni Association oragnised the third lecture, ‘Industry Academia Interface’ under the lecture series: Colloquium. This lecture was delivered by Sh. Ramanjit Singh, CEO, Surya Roshni Ltd.
Vice Principal Prof. Shailendra Sidhu said that the main objective of organising this lecture is to equip the students about importance of interaction between academic and industrial world.
Dr. Gurdeep Singh, Head, Dept of Punjabi formally welcomed the main speaker. The speaker was formally introduced by Dr. B. B. Singla, Dept of Business Management, Punjabi University, Patiala.
In his lecture Sh. Ramanjit Singh said that during journey of success of your venture, the understanding of market needs and technical innovation solutions is must. He said that ‘clean fuel’ and ‘green energy’ resources are changing the face of industry. E-Commerce and E-marketing along with contemporary e-education are shaping our future and global landscape of business and trade. A lively discussion session was held with the students after the lecture.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Ashwani Sharma, Dean, Life Sciences. The stage was conducted by Prof. Parminder Kaur, Assistant Professor, Dept of Commerce.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਲੂਮਨੀ ਐਂਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਗਿਆਨ ਤੇ ਬੌਧਿਕਤਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਲੜੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਅੱਜ ਤੀਜੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ‘ਸਨਅੱਤ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕਤਾ: ਆਪਸੀ ਸਹਿਹੋਂਦ’ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਵਕਤਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸੀ.ਈ.ਓ., ਸੂਰਿਯਾ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਏ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸ਼ੈਲੇਂਦਰਾ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਲੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਮਹਤੱਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਸਨੱਅਤੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਥਿਊਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਬੰਧ ਰਚਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ, ਮੁਖੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਵਕਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ ਡਾ. ਬੀ. ਬੀ. ਸਿੰਗਲਾ, ਬਿਜ਼ਨੈਸ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਰਵਾਈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੱਨਅਤੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਸਮਝ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਤਜਰਬੇ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਰਿਸਕ ਲੈਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ‘ਗਰੀਨ’ ਤੇ ‘ਕਲੀਨ’ ਊਰਜਾ ਸ੍ਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਨੱਅਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਤਬਦੀਲੀਆਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਗਲੇ ਦੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਲਮੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਈ-ਕਾਮਰਸ, ਈ-ਮਾਰਕੀਟਿੰਗ ਤੇ ਈ-ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਸੱਨਅਤੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਤੈਅ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਾਲ-ਜਵਾਬ ਦਾ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਮਤਾ ਡੀਨ, ਲਾਈਫ਼ ਸਾਇੰਸਿਜ਼ ਡਾ. ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਟੇਜ ਸੰਚਾਲਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ, ਐਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
